Capturing moments as creative outlet

PHOTOGRAPHY

Alongside my professional work, photography is an important creative outlet for me.

What started as an interest during my time studying abroad in Sweden has developed into a continuous pursuit of capturing landscapes, moments, and perspectives.

I particularly enjoy the process behind each image — from planning a shoot, scouting locations, and carefully choosing the right time based on weather and light conditions.

Many of my shoots start long before sunrise, often involving hiking to a location in the dark to be there at the exact right moment.

The actual act of taking the photograph is just as important to me: dialing in the right exposure, adjusting settings manually, and finding the best possible angle and composition.

Photography allows me to approach things from a different angle — more intuitive, visual, and focused on detail.

A Different Perspective

While project management is about structure, planning, and execution, photography sharpens my eye for perspective, detail, and timing.

Both disciplines require a clear understanding of context — knowing when to step back, when to focus, and how individual elements come together to form a coherent result.

In photography, this means carefully observing a scene, anticipating changing conditions, and composing an image with intention. In project work, it translates into structuring complex problems, aligning stakeholders, and making informed decisions in dynamic environments.

This combination influences how I approach challenges: analytical and structured on the one hand, but also aware of nuance, perspective, and the bigger picture.

It allows me to not only manage projects efficiently, but to approach them with a broader, more thoughtful view.
